Well, well... not a single guess? Yesterday's Threes asked you to identify the actor who was in The Thin Red Line, Austin Powers: Goldmember, and The Punisher. Now granted, it was a bit tricky--two of the roles were primarily cameos. But this is a pretty big star we're talking about--any of the actor's other films would have been pretty easy giveaways.
So this week's Thursday Threes prize--the coveted self-made construction-paper medallion--goes unclaimed!
For the correct answer, embrace the Inviso-Test!
John Travolta, people. You know, the voice of Bolt this weekend? In fact the Bolt review and poster art were resting sneakily just below the quiz yesterday.
Travolta was the villain in the 2004 version of The Punisher and had a small part at the beginning of Terrance Malick's The Thin Red Line. And in Austin Powers: Goldmember (easily my favorite of the Powers flicks) he was Goldmember. Or rather, he played John Travolta playing Goldmember in the "Hollywood" version.
I mean come on, if I'd said Saturday Night Fever, Pulp Fiction, and Battlefield Earth, where would have been the challenge in that?
I knew that!

So, I totally didn't understand your inviso test thing until I just re-read it. But no matter, cuz I just figured it all on my own! Since no else was willing to do the leg work I figured I would, and I found it, it wasn't that hard, you just had to look! Oh Johnny Boy...John Travolta!
Can I pin myself with the paper "Winner" medallion? =)

Yes, Nicole -- seeing as the paper "Winner" medallion has sat lonely and unclaimed all weekend, you may go ahead and wear it with somewhat diminished pride. And get ready for a brand new Thursday Threes this week on a very special Wednesday!
