It is hard to imagine Monopoly as a good movie plot, but I thought Clue was really good. An excellent comedy.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that there is a chance (however small) that this movie could be cool, but there is a much larger chance that it will be ridiculous. I concur. I'm also amazed at the fact that Battleship and The Ouija Board games are being made into movies.

Maybe I'll go into the filmmaking business...it seems as though the talent and ideas are dwindling in that area these days!

I am so confused by this. Monopoly with a futuristic feel? We're talking about the guy who made Alien and Bladerunner. [Jeez].

Wait a minute! You can't knock clue, that movie was actually really entertaining, funny and it had different endings released at different theatres which is just cool in my book.
