There Will Be... Slime
Yep, it's time to break out your old Ghostbusters Soundtrack cassette from the '80s and start singing "Who you gonna call?"
Ghostbusters 3 is a go. I can't believe I just wrote that.
And guess what else? Two of the producers from the American version of "The Office" (returning to us on September 25th), Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, have been tapped to write the script. Until that's done, none of the original Ghostbusting team will officially sign on again -- they need to ensure that the storyline is, you know, up to the very high standards set by the preceding film in the franchise, Ghostbusters 2. Does anyone even remember that one? I don't.
But I can't lie and say I'm not excited by the prospect of the guys reuniting again. I actually just re-watched the original a few weeks ago, and the special effects were so bad, it was laughable. Imagine what they could do now! All I know is that there better be slime involved, or fans are going to protest. And I will be leading that protest.
