1/19/20: Brad Pitt Does It Again
Award season is rolling in and so are the awards for Brad Pitt. At the 26th Annual SAG Awards, he won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (hello longest award name ever). Now onto his acceptance speech which was again unforgettable. He opened by saying he was adding this to his Tinder profile, but that wasn’t the only joke he had up his sleeve. His celeb friends were laughing through the entire time and seemed to love him as much as we do.

BUT THIS WASN’T THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT. Brad watched Jennifer Aniston accept her award while he was backstage and all the hopeless romantic hearts collectively swooned over his smile while listening to her speech. Chances are that this love is not rekindling since they say they’re “just friends”. But if Brad decides to channel Say Anything… and stand outside her window with a Boombox to serenade her, we wouldn’t hate it. #WeStanBradAndJen

1/21/20: It’s Raining Iguanas
We all know that Florida is always in the headlines for strange incidents and this is no different. The National Weather Service in Miami had issued a ‘falling iguana’ warning on Tuesday night due to the cold front that rolled into the area. Since Iguanas are cold blooded, they become immobile when temperatures dip into the 40s. When this happens, they can fall out of trees (TERRIFYING) and appear dead when they in fact are not.

Anyone else get an instant flashback to The Parent Trap when Hallie puts a lizard in Meredith’s hair and then it crawls on her and then she freaks out?! Because if I was living in Florida during in this whole falling iguana situation, I would react the EXACT same way. But real talk, if sharks start falling out of the sky like they do in Sharknado, I’M OUT.

1/22/20: Mr. Peanut Dies
The day that we never thought would come has happened. After 104 years of life, happiness, and nutty adventures, Mr. Peanut sacrificed himself for the safety of others. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, check out this clip from The Estate of Mr. Peanut (watch with caution). Tributes have been pouring in with people sharing their fondest memories. He will always hold a special place in our hearts, but his legacy will live on forever! #RIPeanut

Something tells me that this isn’t the last of the peanut family we’ll be seeing, so keep your eyes peeled. Speaking of peanuts, have you seen The Peanut Butter Falcon? In this new movie, Zak runs away from his nursing home so that he can attend the wrestling school of his idol and goes on an adventure of a lifetime. If you’re looking for a feel-good movie, bring this one to your next movie night!
