September. It’s a month of readjusting to old routines once the kids are back in school, preparing for fall temperatures, and taking some time out to enjoy the few sacred weeks we have left before starting to be bombarded with Halloween (and holiday!) decorations at every turn.

(OK so maybe I did already encounter a huge Halloween display a few weeks ago at a craft store in my neighborhood, but we shall not speak of that.)

I personally think that some of the time you take to recharge and ready yourself for the final quarter of the year would be well spent with a great movie.

Here are three must-sees, followed by our full September schedule for both the Box and On Demand.

Ocean’s 8 – Whoever said that guys get to have all the fun? This dazzling spinoff of the Ocean’s Eleven franchise (lead Sandra Bullock plays Danny Ocean’s (George Clooney) sister) brings together an incredible mix of star power (Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Crazy Rich Asians’ standout Awkwafina and more!) and too many celebrity cameos to count in this tale of an elaborate Met Gala heist. It completely surpassed my high expectations.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom – Equally thrilling is watching Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard join forces to save their beloved dinosaurs from extinction (again) as the abandoned Jurassic World theme park faces an immediate, dire threat from its resident volcano. But once rescued, it becomes abundantly clear that the prehistoric beasts cannot remain caged on the mainland. It’s a nail-biting, action-packed ride with a kicker of a setup at the end for the final film in the trilogy.

Hans Solo: A Star Wars Story – What made everyone’s favorite scoundrel the way he is? How did he meet Chewbacca … or come to own the Millennium Falcon? Why is he frenemies with Lando Calrissian? And was Lando always so freakin’ smooth? You’ll get answers to all of these questions and more in this fun origin story starring Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Paul Bettany and Donald Glover.
