Spring is here, which means summer isn’t far behind. Thankfully we’ve got lots of great movies headed to the Box and Redbox On Demand in April — including 5 more Academy Award nominated films — to help us survive in the meantime.

Here are three must-see picks and then the full schedule for April after that below!

The Greatest Showman – Hugh Jackman stars as P.T. Barnum, the founder of Barnum & Bailey Circus back in the late 1800s. While we know his efforts to launch a circus ultimately pay off in the end, his “greatest show on earth” was anything but at the outset. Eventually, though, he and his business partner (played by Zac Efron) assemble a fantastic group of performers — from acrobats to a bearded lady — who aren’t afraid to let their freak flags fly in order to wow a crowd. If you need to feel inspired, this is the movie for you!

The Post – Meryl Streep stars as Katharine Graham, the unexpected and unplanned head of The Washington Post newspaper after her husband dies. As her all-male board of directors tries to influence her decisions, executive editor Ben Bradlee (Tom Hanks) and his team of journalists uncover explosive government secrets regarding the Vietnam War that Graham must decide whether or not the paper should publish. It’s the best kind of political thriller — because it really happened!

Den of Thieves – If you’re in the mood for pure escapism, you can’t go wrong with a heist flick. This one stars Gerard Butler and 50 Cent and revolves around a plan to relieve LA’s Federal Reserve of approximately $30 million. Who are you betting on: the cops or the robbers?
