If you’re anything like us, you might be in denial that summer is official coming to an end. But don’t get too down in the dumps about it just yet, because we have good news! You can always transport yourself to warmer climates or be whisked back to the carefree days of summer by simply popping in a movie.

Here are some that will do the trick:

Baywatch This might be THE quintessential summer movie. Based on one of the most-watched TV series in the world, it stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron . . . and countless other beach babes and buff bods. Together with their team of elite lifeguards, the Baywatch crew needs to protect and defend their beach against a phantom drug-dealer. And yes, you can expect a few big cameos from the original cast!

The Fate of the Furious Fast cars. A pounding soundtrack. Exotic locations. A wisecracking team that needs to save the world. And “The Rock” . . . again! This movie screams “summer escapism.” And you know you need to see how the gang tops the insane stunts they’ve pulled off in the past seven installments. (Hint: it involves a torpedo and a submarine.)

Snatched Travel to the hot and sticky jungles of Ecuador with Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn (her first film in 15 years!), and laugh yourself into forgetting that fall is closing in. After the two are kidnapped on their vacation gone awry, they need to get over their differences and work together to escape. You’re guaranteed a wild and crazy time with these queens of comedy.

Passengers What better way to avoid the changing seasons here on Earth than to join Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt in space? They’re part of a group that’s traveling through the galaxy to colonize a new planet light-years away . . . but we all know those kinds of trips never seem to go smoothly. Sure enough, systems start failing and our two A-list stars are in serious trouble. But their hot hot hot chemistry will extend your summer a little bit longer.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul Join the Heffley family as they take a summer road trip to visit Meemaw on her 90th birthday. While “Wimpy Kid” Greg initially doesn’t want to go, he soon realizes the vacation is not only a way he can escape the fallout from an, um, unfortunate YouTube incident, but also his key to attending a video game expo that just so happens to be taking place in Meemaw’s town. This fourth movie based on the bestselling children’s book series is a surefire (and family-friendly) way to keep the summertime vibes going strong at home.

Here’s to making the most of the final days of summer!
