The Frozen Ground Winners

Schindlers-ListIn our last giveaway we asked you to share your favorite movie that’s based on a true story for a chance to win a prize pack consisting of a DVD + Digital copy of The Frozen Ground and a movie poster signed by Nicolas Cage, Vanessa Hudgens, and the movie’s writer and director, Scott Walker.

More than 2,140 people sent in responses, and the three lucky winners are: Tairo, Andy and Sarena Marvin!

Here’s what “based on a true story” movies they each like best.

Tairo: Schindler’s List. Spielberg’s masterpiece moves beyond Hollywood’s cliché to tell a gripping true story. I think real life is about feelings, details, selective memories – and Spielberg captures those, ever so brilliantly, in the movie’s unique cinematography, symbols, and acting. Genius.

Andy: Mine would have to be Zero Dark Thirty. GO MARINES!!! Uh rah

Sarena: The Perfect Storm or Rudy.

Great picks, one and all.

Yippee and yahoo for all of our winners, and thanks to everyone who participated!

Have you entered our latest giveaway for a chance to win an Xbox 360?

Didn’t win? That’s OK!

Reserve The Frozen Ground tonight.

“Rugrats” would be great. It could also help expand other original shows
