Ask Kevin Smith a Question!

The Quick Stop.

The View Askewniverse.

If you’ve got a smile on your face right now, chances are you’re a huge Kevin Smith fan. And if that’s the case, you’ll be excited about a unique opportunity Redbox customers have this week. Kevin’s going to be stopping by the Redbox headquarters on Thursday, and YOU have a chance to ask him a question!

That’s right, the one and only director of such cult favorites as Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Red State will be fielding questions on Thursday, June 14, at around 3:45 pm ET. If you have something you’d like to ask him:

  • Leave your question in the comments section below by 11 am ET on Thursday, June 14,
  • Leave your name and email address in the appropriate fields as well, or else your question won’t be in the running (don’t worry, your email address will not be published or used for anything else),
  • Follow Redbox on Twitter (@Redbox)
  • And specifically follow the #KevinAtRedbox hashtag on Thursday afternoon at 3:45 pm ET to see if Silent Bob himself responds!

Good luck! Or should we say, “Snootchie bootchies, little nootchies!”

We are working on a book/website that concerns the rib from which Eve was made. In your movie, “Dogma”, there is the scene where Alan Rickman shows that angels are ill-equipped. I was interested in knowing whether his anatomy was your idea or was it Hollywood’s idea. If it is your idea, was there a bone covering his pubic area and could that possibly be the rib from whence Eve was made? This would back our theory, so we are very intrigued in your answer.
    Thank you,
    John, Dave and Frank.

Would you ever consider turning Jay and Silent Bob into a cable television show? I know so many people who would love to see that myself included!

Would you ever come to Sulphur, La. to meet a cancer survivor that has loved you for years?

Why are you appearing at the Star Wars Celebration as a speaker? Other than being a total SW geek, what qualifies you? That means I am qualified, too. Seems to me you’re taking up a slot that should have gone to someone who was actually involved in making the films. Sorry Kevin, I like YOUR movies… but other than referencing SW scenes in some of them, why else?
