What to Rent This Weekend

Even if you know what you want to rent this weekend, you’ll probably want to add another title on to your To Watch list after reading this Redbox team member’s unusual recommendation.

Name: Andy Watterson

Redbox Role: Manager of Growth Strategies at Coinstar (the parent company of Redbox)

Andy’s Pick: The Dead Undead: Vampires vs. Zombies

There are two types of movies in this world: movies about vampires, and movies about zombies. At least that was the case until the release of The Dead Undead: Vampires vs. Zombies. In this soon-to-be classic—a tour de force by (still living) director Matt Anderson—the unstoppable force of a zombie horde meets the immovable object that is a hidden gang of vampires. What happens when a group of unsuspecting humans gets caught in between might surprise you. But—SPOILER ALERT—it does involve some campy, awesome action and explosions. The Artist it’s not, but if you’re looking for a true step forward in the development of a unified theory of scary dead things, look no further than The Dead Undead: Vampires vs. Zombies.

How can you NOT want to watch this movie after that endorsement?

Reserve a copy of The Dead Undead: Vampires vs. Zombies tonight.

The Dead Undead was a very low budget movie. Graphics were terrible. Story line sucked. I would not recommend this movie at all.
