Friends with Benefits Co-Stars Keep Their Promises to Marines

Friends With Benefits MovieIn July, Afghanistan-based Sergeant Scott Moore asked actress Mila Kunis (via YouTube) to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball. His video became a viral sensation, and was brought to Mila’s attention by her Friends with Benefits co-star, Justin Timberlake, during a live TV interview. She accepted the invitation while on the show, and then of course days later Corporal Kelsey De Santis used YouTube to reach out to JT and ask him if he’d escort her to her (separate) Marine Corps Ball. Surely he had to say yes, right?

In fact, both celebrities not only said yes, but they also lived up to their word this past month and enthusiastically attended the military galas alongside their adoring troops. Kunis went to the Greenville, North Carolina, event with Sgt. Moore (see a picture here!), while Timberlake went to the Richmond, Virginia-based celebration with Corporal De Santis and then wrote a very touching blog post about his experience afterward.

Check out Good Morning America‘s interview with Sgt. Moore here, and watch The Today Show‘s chat with Corporal De Santis below. I say BRAVO (and OORAH!) to both Kunis and Timberlake for honoring their commitments and showing their respect for our Armed Forces in such a special way.

Set a reminder to reserve a copy of Friends with Benefits, starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis!
It’ll be at Redbox on DVD and Blu-ray this Friday.

(JT can also be found at Redbox in Bad Teacher, on DVD and Blu-ray.)

we are not soldiers, we are Marines. Your blog clearly states that they kept their promises to Marines but then you say they accompanied the “soldiers” to the Marine Corps ball.
