All summer, redbox has been bringing back great movies from the ’90s and ’00s.

Here are five fan favorites that have arrived since Locke shared his “best of the best” picks last month:

Lemony Snicket A Series of Unfortunate EventsLemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events

Based on the first three novels in the popular Lemony Snicket’s series!

After the tragic death of their parents, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire are shuffled  from guardian to guardian. The orphans stay with weirdos like herpetologist Montgomery Montgomery and grammar-wise Josephine Anwhistle, but the worst by far is Count Olaf, an evil and greedy man, who tries to steal the Baudelaire family fortune.

Genre: Family

Starring: Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep, Billy Connolly

Hey Look, It’s… Emily Browning as Violet, 7 years before scoring the lead as Babydoll in Sucker Punch!) There’s also Glee‘s Jane Lynch and Helena Bonham Carter from The King’s Speech in uncredited roles! And if you listen closely, you’ll realize that Jude Law is the voice of Lemony Snicket.

Ghost TownGhost Town

Bertram Pincus is a man whose people skills leave much to be desired. When he dies–and then is miraculously revived seven minutes later–he discovers that he now has the ability to see ghosts. Some people might find this to be cool, but Pincus is severely annoyed. All of the ghosts want something from him, particularly Frank Herlihy, who pesters Pincus into breaking up the impending marriage of his widow. That puts Pincus squarely in the middle of a love triangle, with, uh,  “spirited” results.

Genre: Comedy, Romance

Starring: Greg Kinnear, Ricky Gervais, Téa Leoni, Jeff Hiller

Hey Look, It’s… Kristen Wiig (Paul, Bridesmaids) as Ricky Gervais’ surgeon!

Surfs UpSurf’s Up

Join Cody, a Rockhopper penguin, as he travels from his home in Antarctica to take part in the Big Z Memorial Surf-Off on the beach of Pen Gu Island. Meet his new friends, including surf nut Chicken Joe and the spunky lifeguard Lani. Cody believes that winning is everything until he meets The Geek, an older and much wiser retired pro-surfer, who may just show Cody that a true winner isn’t always the one who comes in first.

Genre: Family, Animated

Hey, Do You Hear That? It’s… Shia LaBeouf as the voice of Cody and The Dude himself, Jeff Bridges, as the voice of The Geek!

You might know this movie better as “that one with the MINI Coopers.”

Genre: Action/Adventure

Starring: Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Ed Norton, Donald Sutherland, Mos Def, Jason Statham

Wow. Trying to pass off old movies as a great buy. Sure it’s only a buck, but get real.

I think it’s great to revisit old movies! Lemony Snicket is one of my favorites. And SpongeBob is fun, but really….no one should have to tolerate more than half an hour of SpongeBob…..

Frustrated and disipointed, I reserved a movie on the internet, the message said to pick up the movie at the redbox B. When I drove to the location, several miles from home, the box wouldn’t recognize my credit card. So I tried to rent the movie anyway, in 100 degree heat, when I found the movie on the screen, it was out of stock. I returned home and tried to call redbox and got a busy signal, I tried the internet redbox website and tried to click on help and got a message site didn’t exist.
I’ll probably not use rebox again to rent a movie.

I would like to see Teen Witch or the original Karate Kid. Also, pretty in pink, weird science, less than zero , Love Actually, hysterically blindness, natural born killers, princess dairies!
