Movie Trailer: Trust, Starring Clive Owen

You all remember how Clive Owen can do no wrong in my eyes, correct? How he rotates with Paul Rudd every other week for the #1 spot on my Celeb Crush list? OK. Now that we’re on the same page, let me introduce the trailer for the dark and disturbing drama Trust — directed by your old Friend and mine, David Schwimmer. In it, Clive plays an outraged father whose pre-teen daughter becomes the victim of an online predator.

I’ll be completely honest: Despite the fact that I love me some Clive, this is the sort of film that — were it not my job to watch movies — I would probably never seek out. Even though it’s not based on a true story or anything, you know that it could be with all the sickos out there in the world. The trailer left a pit in my stomach and gave me an serious case of the not-good kind of chills. Having said all that, I think it definitely looks like a solid movie… just not sure how big of an audience it would pull in to cineplexes. Right now it’s scheduled for a limited theatrical run beginning April 1.

What do you think — would you be interested in seeing Trust?
