Freeze Frame

I cannot tell a lie: the reason I didn’t post the Freeze Frame challenge yesterday is because I was stuffing my face at the Taste of Chicago.  In case you’re interested, I enjoyed a slice of deep-dish spinach pizza, a huge helping of dripping-with-honey baklava, and a hearty slice of garlic cheesy bread.  I’ll be going back today, too… but not before I serve up this week’s game! And here’s a little semi-related movie trivia fact for ya… one of the alternate endings of The Break-Up with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston was filmed at the Taste of Chicago, as was — I believe (don’t have the DVD on me to double-check) — an extra feature (or maybe it was the end credits sequence?) where the a cappella group in the film, The Tone Rangers, plays at the festival. Does anyone remember what I’m talking about?

Anywhooo… on with the challenge:

Movie #1

Movie #2

Movie #3

If you know the three films above, enter their titles into the comments section directly below this post, and whoever gets it correct first will see his or her name in bold on the site in a few days, in addition to having the honor of crafting an aluminum foil victory… something.  I’m sick of vuvuzelas (who isn’t?) and I think there are enough aluminum foil trophies floating around out there for now — anyone else have any ideas?  Maybe an aluminum foil Prized Popcorn Bucket or something?

Anyway, there’s also something very obvious that the trio of films above share, so if you know it, leave that in your entry as well.  We’ll list the names of everyone who got this “common thread” correct — don’t you want to be (not even remotely) famous?

I hope I made this challenge easy enough so that it only takes you a few moments and then you can get back to enjoying your holiday weekend.  I’ll post the answers a bit later than usual on Monday in order to give everyone a bit more time.

Happy 4th of July!
