The Great Darkness is Upon Us…

I'll swallow your soul!
I warned you of the evils of letting vicious, unholy cartoon animals loose in theaters.

Then I warned you a second time.

I even said, “When will you wake from your obliviousness and put an end to this? When Marmaduke hits the big screen? By then it will be too late… too late…”

And now it is too late. Far too late. Fox is developing a Marmaduke feature film.

I stood on the mountaintop and warned you of the impending Great Dane Doom. You didn’t listen. So maybe you’ll heed me now:

Prepare yourselves for Family Circus: The Movie.

It’s coming… it’s coming…

Oh you sort of like Marmaduke. Admit it.

It’s true… that bit where he gets really hungry and then jumps up on someone? That’s still comedy gold, even after 55 years. :)

    David Lynch’s The Family Circus
    Michael Bay’s Marmaduke
And I believe Sam Mendes already directed a version of Blondie, they just retitled it Revolutionary Road

Forget the extended tracking shots in Touch of Evil, The Player, Goodfellas, and Atonement…
Nothing will top the dazzling visual wizardry of the 15-minute unbroken shot in Family Circus: The Movie that follows Billy’s winding path as he makes his way “straight” home from school!

LOL! How riveting would that be!?
What I’d like to see is Hagar the Horrible or even better…Calvin and Hobbes.
