Zack and Miri Make a Porno this Friday… there, I said it!
If you haven’t already heard, there’s been a lot of hoopla about Kevin Smith’s latest film and it’s risqué title. All I care about, though, is if it’s funny or not. From the trailer below, I can’t say I’m too impressed (I know I’m in the minority on this one…):
I thought the best part was the "there’s poo in there!" line. That’s probably not a good sign, since the majority of the movie seems to be about humor of another kind. On top of that, I am not a fan of Seth Rogen. 
And I’m also mad that Kevin Smith broke his fourteen year streak of having Ben Affleck star or cameo in all of his movies since Clerks.
But… on the other hand, positive reviews, the fact that the guys who play Randal and Jay in Clerks were in the clip above, and my overriding adoration of Kevin Smith all lead me to believe that I’ll probably end up seeing Zack and Miri one way or the other.
On that note, even though there are a ton of movies opening and/or expanding into wide release this weekend, I think that Smith’s followers (not to mention Rogen’s) will carry ZaMMaP to the #1 spot. And then that will mean that Zack and Miri will have to make… a sequel within a sequel, right?
