… It’s time to stop everything in the middle of your basketball game and sing your heart out!
That’s right, my friends… High School Musical 3 will grace us with its presence on Friday (as will James’ review of the film), and millions of teenage girls can hardly wait to see what’s in store for the HSM crew this time around. I’ve never watched anything having to do with this franchise, but it certainly seems like they went all out with a singing and dancing extravaganza for its first feature film — did you notice how the end of the trailer touted TEN new songs?
While I am not familiar with the story lines of the HSM characters, I feel like I know more than I should about the personal lives of the actors and actresses who play them.
For example, I know that everyone was shocked at the movie’s L.A. premiere because star Ashley Tisdale showed up as a brunette. And that the streets near the University of Southern California had to be closed in order to coral some 3,000 fans into a gymnasium for the event. And that lead on-screen couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have been dating in real life for quite some time. And, of course, everyone knows all about that little scandal Hudgens caused last year.
As High School Musical 3 ticket sales have already broken pre-order records abroad, I have a feeling its success is only going to grow at home. Does that mean that College University Musical is around the corner? As it turns out… no. They’re going with High School Musical 4 and concentrating on a new set of students. Therefore, it’s entirely conceivable that one day we could be watching the trailer for High School Musical 25. You heard it here first!
